KS2 Teacher

Position Overview

Teach South is seeking a KS2 Teacher for a full‑time, temporary role in Newhaven, starting September 2026. The daily salary ranges from £200 to £300. This position involves teaching a Year3 class, planning and delivering creative lessons across the Key Stage2 curriculum, supporting pupils during their transition, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment.

This role is open to experienced teachers or early‑career teachers (ECT).

• Inspire children to reach their full potential and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
• Teach across the Year3 curriculum, supporting children as they transition into Key Stage
  2.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide effective feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
• Has strong knowledge of the Key Stage2 curriculum.
• Is passionate about helping children learn and develop.
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is committed, creative, and enthusiastic about making a difference.
