Job Description Early Years Officer St Francis Xavier’s Primary School, ELC Class Post  – CS1628 An opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Officer to join the team at St Francis Xavier’s Primary School, ELC Class on a permanent basis. You will have skills, knowledge and experience of all current Early Learning and Childcare provision and procedures and have a passion for promoting and delivering high quality play and learning both indoors and outdoors.

You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with children and families. You will have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures. With experience of working with children, you will have an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. You must be registered with or currently seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership. The post full time (37 hours), term time and is permanent within Falkirk Council Education Services. Please note that you may be asked to work in other ELC setting across the Falkirk Council area. Please note the salary in the advert will be adjusted accordingly for term time contract.
