AMN2: £52,229 - £77,389 per annum

CMVM / Edinburgh Medical School

Part-time: 7 hours per week

Fixed-Term: up to 2 years

The Opportunity:

This exciting new Teaching Fellow post offers the opportunity to work as part of the Clinical Communication Team at Edinburgh Medical School, teaching clinical communication skills to medical students.

The successful applicant will work alongside the clinical communication team as well as other tutors, simulated patients and professional actors who support our teaching.

Clinical communication teaching is mostly in-person small group teaching based either in Chancellor's Building or central campus and covers most years of the MBChB and HCP-Med curriculum.

The role will also include involvement in the development of new teaching material, assessment and opportunities for innovation and collaboration.

Your skills and attributes for success:
  • GMC registration
  • Approval from training programme director for out of programme teaching experience, if required
  • Experience of teaching, particularly undergraduate
  • Excellent team working, communication and organisational skills
