We are looking for a Coordinator to support young people 16–25 taking part in the BFI Film Academy Scotland Hub, which SEE leads in partnership with Ayrshire Film Company, Eden Court, GMAC and shmu.
As Scotland's oldest film charity, Screen Education Edinburgh (SEE) has been changing lives through filmmaking for 45 years - and we are growing! This is an exciting opportunity to join our small, friendly team and help make creative education accessible.
Screen Education Edinburgh is leading the new BFI Film Academy Scotland Hub 2026–2029, delivered in partnership with Ayrshire Film Company, Eden Court, GMAC, and Station House Media Unit (shmu) — bringing free training, networking and year-round support to young people aged 16–25 right across Scotland.
As our BFI Film Academy Scotland Hub Coordinator, you will be the dedicated point of contact for our Year-Round Membership and Alumni programmes — coordinating workshops, masterclasses and networking events, offering one-to-one guidance, and helping to build a connected community of young filmmakers across Scotland.
The post is structured as a Modern Apprenticeship, with protected time to work towards a Level 7 qualification in Career Development.
Salary: £25,178.40 per annum (real living wage), pro rata
Hours:
Part-time, 30 hours per week (0.75
FTE)
Contract:
Fixed term for 3 years
Location:
Edinburgh, with travel across Scotland as required
