Our Project and Cost Management team in Scotland has significantly grown in the last few years and is continuing to attract high performing individuals looking to progress their career and work on bespoke and interesting projects.

As a result of this success we are seeking a Project Manager with proven experience gained within a construction consultancy setting, and specifically with a prior focus on projects within the Healthcare sector.

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex Healthcare projects within Scotland, involving a combination of the following:
  • Administer the NEC4 suite of contracts
  • Projects involving multiple services provided by AECOM
  • Manage all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
  • Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
  • Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.

Qualifications

Ready to push the limits of what's possible?

Here's what we're looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • You will ideally be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to successfully support and lead construction projects.
  • Pre and post contract design /project management expertise over the RIBA lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • NEC4 Contract Administration (Accreditation if positive)
  • Maintain accurate project records (both paper and electronic)
  • Robust Stakeholder Management process



Preferred Experience /

Qualifications:

  • Academic Qualification - ideally Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Master's Degree
  • NEC 3/4 accreditation
  • Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, APM or other equivalent institution
  • Has clear understanding of NHS Scotland requirements, such as NHS Scotland Processes, Governance and Compliance.
