dsm-firmenich is recruiting for its prestigious four-year Apprenticeship programme on the Dalry site. The programme combines on-the-job learning and academic study, providing a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to kick-start a career in science, production technology, and engineering. • Assisting with maintenance, fault finding, and repair of electrical systems.
• Supporting work on instrumentation and control systems.
• Learning how to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Gaining experience with plant equipment, sensors, and control systems.
• Working safely in line with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Contributing to continuous improvement activities.
• Assisting in the execution of safety, food safety and quality controls in adherence with site procedures.

Prospective applicants must have or attain five passes at National 5 (including English), together with attainment or predicted attainment of two Higher qualifications by August 2026, one of which must be Physics or Maths. Current and/or predicted Higher grades must be at level C or above. All applicants must be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, work well in a team environment, demonstrate a talent for practical skills, and be prepared to make a positive contribution to the site.
