Senior Engineer, Digital Design Engineering

** The Edinburgh team is seeking a Senior Digital Design Engineer to grow its talented group located in the city centre of the Scottish capital.

** Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
** Work with the Analog design team and chip lead to identify partitioning and block requirements.

Work with other designers and layout team members to integrate the digital blocks into the chip top level

* Minimum Qualifications:

** MSEE + minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Semiconductor industry doing digital standard cell-based IC design using Verilog, performing Linting/CDC/RDC checks, synthesis, timing analysis, power analysis and physical verification tools

Experience with design for testability, scan insertion, scan pattern debugging Familiarity with Cadence and Synopsys design tools Experience debugging

ICs and associated evaluation systems in a lab environment Excellent communication skills, ability to work within a cross functional team and understanding of the complete digital design flow are musts for this position

* Preferred Qualifications:

** Experience with Matlab and Simulink

Experience with integration of micro-processors such as ARM and RISC-V MCU 8051 IDE

Experience with multiple power domains

Experience with clock domains, bus arbiter control. Knowledge of SRAM, ROM and Flash memory

Proactive and growth mindset, ability to work independently

** Relevant experience in Semiconductor industry doing digital standard cell based IC design using Verilog, synthesis tools, timing analysis and physical verification tools
