We are supporting a leading innovator in life‑critical technology, seeking an exceptional Development Engineer to join their R&D team. This role sits at the forefront of advanced medical‑grade product development, where engineering quality and precision standards are uncompromisingly high.

You’ll contribute across the full development lifecycle of new and existing low‑power embedded devices. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will play a hands‑on role in firmware, electronics design, and product engineering - all focused on delivering exceptionally reliable, safety‑critical devices.

You will excel in this position if you bring:

• A degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related engineering discipline
• 4+ years’ experience in a commercial product development environment
• Strong microprocessor/firmware development for low‑power embedded systems
• Solid understanding of core electronic theory, both analogue and digital
• Experience delivering designs across the full product lifecycle
• High attention to detail, strong investigative mindset, and proactive problem‑solving

(Not essential, but highly valued)

• Bluetooth / USB interfacing
• C# / .NET tooling for test systems
• Circuit simulation tools
• Familiarity with quality‑critical standards such as ISO 13485, IEC 60601, IEC 62304
