First People Solutions is currently working with a high successful consulting engineer who have grown from a small UK business to a major international player, operating in key sectors including the built environment, energy, mining, technology, government and infrastructure.

You will join their Civil and Structural Engineering team, taking on a lead designer/checker role across a range of small to large-scale projects. The role involves contributing to proposal development, managing client expectations, and mentoring junior members within the team.

What we're looking for:

Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
Chartered status preferred or close too (IStruct

E / ICE)
5+ years of experience delivering structural design projects within a UK design engineering environment
Strong knowledge in key materials such as timber, steel, concrete, and masonry
Confident managing team and projects
Site inspection, structural assessment and report experience
Full, clean UK driving licence
