My client is looking for Senior Staff Analog design engineer to join their Edinburgh, UK location. The role will be to join an establish team developing high-performance data converter ICs and amplifiers for consumer markets! As part of this role, you'll design top-notch delta-sigma/SAR ADCs and DACs. You'll also have the chance to contribute to designing various amplifiers, DC/DC converters, and more in advanced CMOS processes.

• Drive and decide key technical system requirements for mixed-signal IC development
• Build the analog toplevel, defining power strategy and toplevel layout placement
• Familiar with analog-on-top or digital-on-top design flows
• Experience of ADC/DAC and or DC/DC designs
• Experienced in ESD and IO driver design
• Simulation of toplevel systems in Virtuoso Spectre (or similar)
• Lead design reviews
• Take an active role in mentoring other engineers
• Review and sign-off of the chip top level for tape out

• BSc / MSc with several years of proven IC development experience
• Strong skills in CMOS analog design and layout
• Proven experience in coordinating small teams of engineers from design to successful tape-outs
• Solid understanding of using Verilog-A, and System Verilog or Matlab
• Organized and detailed with strong communication skills
• Possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Results-oriented and thrive in a dynamic environment
