Overview

Location:

Homebased with Regular National Travel

Salary:
Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700

Role

Responsibilities
  • Lead on the delivery of environmentally sustainable solutions and compliance across a national facilities management contract.
  • Align industry standards and best practice to client aspirations; create tailored and innovative solutions delivering utility and broader environmental improvements.
  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and conclude high-impact energy & environmental solutions; support new product development and energy solutions (alternative energy options, renewable resources, energy conservation, and asset optimisation).
  • Provide strong leadership to connect with the client and deliver their environmental aspirations.
  • Develop and deliver energy and sustainability strategies, including Building and BMS Optimisation within the broader EUK Carbon Transformation and Asset Dynamics solutions.
  • Own and manage the Energy Bureau solution including billing, validation, forecasting, reporting, benchmarking and payment.
  • Review and assess estate performance against Environmental Plans and original building specifications; drive efficiencies to meet/exceed targets.
  • Develop and align reduction solutions within the LCAM approach as part of Asset Dynamics, ensuring carbon and energy considerations in replacement/investment cycles.
  • Produce credible performance reports highlighting consumption trends, data insights, progress against targets and opportunities.
  • Optimise operating efficiency of assets, systems and subsystems across the portfolio.
  • Develop site-specific carbon reduction pathways with credible quantified opportunities to net zero.
  • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders and EUK; translate strategies into working projects that meet client/internal objectives and capital investment programming.
  • Maintain knowledge of existing & emerging technologies, processes and legislation around energy/carbon and broader environmental agendas.
  • Support broader energy & environmental sustainability awareness with focus on waste avoidance and consumption reduction.
  • Ensure accounting services meet requirements around management systems (ISO 14001 & 50001) including audits and compliance.
  • Manage technical programmes of work involving subcontractors, external consultants and EUK staff.
  • Support Small Works, Revenue and Capital Project delivery with input on scoping and optioneering of opportunities.
What You Will Need
  • Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, supply chain partners, and customers.
  • Excellent speaking, listening and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with minimal direction.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Building Service/Energy Engineering or demonstrably equivalent…
