We are seeking a dedicated Senior/Principal Engineer to join our team in Scotland based either in our Glasgow or Edinburgh studio. This is a full-time hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely. Responsibilities include leading and managing engineering projects, providing technical guidance, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that projects align with Civic's sustainability and community-focused mission.

You will be expected to deliver high-quality solutions, foster strong client relationships, and contribute to the professional growth of team members.

• Expertise in engineering principles and practices, with strong technical problem-solving capabilities
• Skills in project management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of sustainability practices, environmental impact assessment, and climate-conscious engineering solutions
• Proficiency in software and tools relevant to civil and structural engineering
• Strong written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience in the built environment and multidisciplinary consultancy projects
• Professional accreditation or chartered status in engineering or a related field is highly desirable
• A degree in civil, structural, or a related engineering discipline is required
