Associate​/Principal Civil Engineer

Are you an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer ready to step up to an Associate/Principal level or already working at Associate/Principal level and looking for a new challenge? A respected consultancy with a growing civils team is seeking a motivated and versatile engineer to help shape their future growth.

You will work closely with the Senior Engineers and other Associates within a dynamic team of 10+, taking responsibility for leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and delivering a wide variety of civil engineering schemes. This is an opportunity to join a business with exciting growth plans, including building a new Edinburgh office and doubling in size over the next three years.

The team undertakes a diverse mix of projects, including house building infrastructure, active travel and public‑realm schemes, and high‑profile developments across the UK.

• Chartered or close to chartered
• All‑round civil engineering design experience across infrastructure, drainage, roads, and public realm
• Strong technical ability, with equal enthusiasm for leading, mentoring, and client‑facing work

• Salary up to £55,000 (DOE)
