This is a full-time, on-site role based in Edinburgh for a Chartered Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing efficient and sustainable structural solutions, performing detailed calculations using advanced software, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day activities will also include collaborating with clients and project teams to explore innovative solutions, overseeing project progress, and providing technical expertise to resolve design challenges.

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design using advanced design software
• Experienced in preparing clear, compliant, and accurate structural calculations
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and sustainable design principles
• Strong technical skills in structural engineering for a diverse range of projects
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach
• Excellent communication and technical report-writing skills
• Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Chartered status with a relevant professional body, such as ICE or IStruct
