EHS Advisor

What will you be doing?

As a Site EHS Advisor, you will support the safe delivery of electrical transmission and substation projects by carrying out site inspections, reviewing safe systems of work, monitoring compliance, and providing practical EHS guidance to site teams and contractors. You will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with project and legislative requirements.

Summary of Responsibilities:

* Provide day-to-day Health, Safety and Environmental support across electrical construction, installation and commissioning activities.

* Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance monitoring to ensure safe working practices are maintained.

* Review risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work, providing EHS guidance where required.

* Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety communications to project personnel.

* Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, identifying and escalating non-conformances.

* Investigate incidents, accidents and safety observations, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.

* Maintain EHS documentation, records and reports in line with project and legislative requirements.

* Support emergency preparedness activities and promote a proactive safety culture across the project.

* Exercise stop-work authority where unsafe acts, conditions or practices present a risk to personnel or the environment.

Essential Requirements:

* Diploma or equivalent in Health and Safety Management

* Diploma or equivalent in Environmental Management

* CDM Awareness

* BESC

* CCNSG Passport

* Accident investigation

* Fire safety

* Expereince in working within an Industrial Electrical backround

What do we offer?

* 6 Month Contract, with likely potential to extend

 * £350-£450 per day (outside IR35 Offered)

* 5 day a week working schedule, 07:00-17:00
