** Summary
* * We are looking for an experienced HVAC Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure programme at Hinkley Point

C. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in HVAC systems, capable of liaising between engineering teams and on-site contractors to ensure successful project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a landmark energy project, helping to power millions of homes with low-carbon electricity.

** Hinkley Point C, Somerset   (On-site role)

** Our client is a leading organisation delivering large-scale engineering projects across the UK. They are committed to high-quality standards and providing long-term energy infrastructure solutions.

** Responsibilities
* ** Act as the main HVAC interface between engineering teams, site area/building leads, and contractors.
* Support initial installation activities and ensure smooth progress through delivery, testing, and commissioning phases.
* Share technical knowledge and expertise with site teams to aid project success.
* Review and assess Field Change Requests (FCR) and site Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for clarity, completeness, and practicality.
* Evaluate remediation plans and confirm the most appropriate solutions for implementation.
* Recommend appropriate delegation levels for FCR/NCR treatment.
* Monitor trends in issues raised and work proactively to prevent recurring problems.
** Must-have Requirements
*** Proven experience of HVAC systems or components within multi-disciplinary projects, ideally in the nuclear sector.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow rigorous engineering standards.
* Track record of delivering engineering safely, to quality, on time, and within budget.
* Ability to lead and influence stakeholders to achieve objectives.
* Self-motivated with awareness of personal limitations.
* Knowledge of contractual and commercial practices.
** Nice-to-have Skills
*** Familiarity with risk mitigation in complex infrastructure projects.
* Experience with large-scale energy or nuclear projects.
