In this engaging field role, you will oversee construction surveillance, support safety standards, and collaborate with dedicated teams to deliver excellence on-site.

• Broad knowledge of the building industry, materials, trades methods, and legal requirements
• Excellent organization, delegation, and communication skills
• Proven experience working within large construction teams
• Ability to produce accurate, relevant daily diaries and reports
• Strong attention to detail when checking work and materials
• Effective relationship-building with contractors
• Persuasive and diplomatic communication style, capable of maintaining independence

• Minimum of HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent vocational training and experience
• Prior experience in construction surveillance and quality compliance
• Attendance and certification in the HPC Clerk of Works course (training provided)

• Experience in the installation and erection of large civil works
• Understanding of CDM Regulations and drawing approval processes
• Proficiency in English, with knowledge of French considered an advantage
• Experience using electronic handheld devices for data capture

• Willingness to support site safety policies and procedures
• Ability to adapt to site-wide management issues and coordinate with diverse teams
• Flexibility to support travel and field duties as needed
