We’re looking for an engineer to join a disruptive semiconductor company developing ground breaking technology in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and validate high-speed digital electronics, FPGA solutions, embedded software and application software.
* Build and automate product testing and characterisation using Python, developing repeatable test plans and customer-facing technical reports.
* Support customers and partners with technical evaluations, demonstrations, training, integration and first-line technical support.
* Represent the company at customer sites, trade shows and industry events, feeding customer insight back into product development and engineering
Technical Requirements
* Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related subject, with some relevant industry, internship or project experience.
* Exposure to electronics design, including schematic capture (e.g. Altium/OrCAD) and hands-on hardware bring-up, debugging and rework.
* Experience or academic/project exposure to C, Python and FPGA design, with an understanding of software development practices.
Personal Requirements
* Fast learner and naturally inquisitive, able to quickly understand new technologies and apply them practically.
* Proactive, reliable and adaptable, with the confidence to work autonomously in a rapidly changing environment.
* Strong communicator who can translate technical problems between customer engineering teams and internal engineering.
* Detail-oriented team player with a genuine enthusiasm for engineering and modern development practices, including AI-assisted workflows.
Bonus Skills
* Experience working across the hardware/software interface, particularly where system constraints and interfaces are critical.
* Exposure to high-speed digital design or FPGA development.
* Experience with automated testing, technical documentation, specifications or customer-facing engineering.
* Comfortable combining hands-on development with customer visits, demonstrations and field engineering, including international travel.
