Purpose & Scope of the Role
Tetra Tech is a leading technical, engineering and environmental consultancy delivering data-driven solutions across water, environment, infrastructure, energy and international development. With over 6,000 people and 50+ offices across the UK and Europe, we combine local delivery with global capability. This graduate role sits within our Cost Consultancy team and offers the opportunity to support cost and procurement management processes while working towards Tetra Tech's internal APC preparation programme and Chartered status with RICS.

Your Impact in this position
You'll contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects by supporting cost planning, tendering, contract administration and project delivery. Working closely with clients and design teams, you'll help provide clear commercial advice and practical support across pre- and post-contract duties.

5 Core Capabilities
  • Cost Planning & Estimating - Support initial estimating and cost planning to help shape informed project decisions.
  • Tender & Contract Support - Prepare tender and contract documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Project & Fund Monitoring - Assist with fund monitoring, due diligence and the delivery of construction projects.
  • Contract Administration - Support employer's agent duties and wider contract administration activities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with clients, architects, structural engineers and project managers across a range of projects.

Training, Qualifications & Experience
You'll need a minimum 2:1 degree in Quantity Surveying, BSc or BEng, plus strong MS Office, written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivation, a full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and suitability for Security Clearance are required.

Working Environment
Based in Edinburgh, with hybrid working supported in line with team and project needs. As a graduate role, there will be an expectation to spend more time in the office initially to support learning, collaboration and development, with travel as required
