This is aConsultantlevel role within our Advisory teamwho provide technical and commercial advice to our clients.

Our consultant shave the opportunity toworkon a range of projects,often helping across different teams across various project aspects.

As well as technical work, you willbe supporting Project Managers andthere is some client facing worktoo.

The isahybridworkingrole fromour Edinburgh(Stockbridge) office.

You’llbe supporting the teamwith the planning and delivery ofrenewablesprojects(primarilyOnshoreWind,Solarand BESS) fromearly-stage feasibility, through development,design,procurementandconstructionand into operation. You willalsobe supporting with technical duediligenceandrepoweringprojects.

This will include:

• Supporting project managers as their assistant– helping keep projects on time, on budget and to an excellent standardfrominceptionto close.
• Drafting reports,briefsand documentation including project budgets,plans,scopes,work packages,progress reports,riskand change registers etc.
• Helping to track deliverables against project briefs and plans.
• Researching innovative technologies, policymechanismsand routes to market.
• Contributing to meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Working alongside PMsas asupporting point of contact for clients,suppliers and contractors,reporting onprojectwork packages,expectations, progress, issues,risksand solutions.
• Going on site visits.
• Learning and developing your skills.
• Being part ofa great teamin a friendly, supportive environment.

We are looking for someone whois either at aConsultantlevel oris working at the Graduate level ready to step up. It doesn’t matter if you have not worked in a consultancy before,ifyou have an understanding of renewables projects (either through your currentroleorprevious studies), good communication skillsand want to work as aConsultantthen we would like to hear from you.

• Some understanding of renewables either in industry or as part of your degree.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc) and general IT skills.
• Proactive,organised and a keen eye for detail.
• Good analysis skills.
• A love for learning.

• Project management skills – working as the deputy/ assistant PM.
• Experience in energy yield calculations for wind and solar PM.
• Knowledge of the engineering standards for design and construction of renewable projects.
• Full UK Driving license.

This role is hybrid based in our Stockbridge (Edinburgh) office — the office is dog friendly and has secure, free parking for cars and bikes.
