A very reputable multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with multiple offices throughout the UK. They are currently engaged in a number of projects ranging in size across Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Mixed-Use and more. Highly technical and well experienced senior management with clear plans outlined for staff development and progression. Trusting and flexible working environment. Positive workplace culture and candidate feedback. Currently seeking an experienced electrical designer (building services).
Role& Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design projects from concept to completion.
- Produce calculations, specifications and technical drawings.
- Design LV distribution, lighting, small power and life-safety systems.
- Coordinate designs with other MEP disciplines.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.
- Support and mentor junior engineers.
- Undertake site surveys and provide construction-stage support.
- HNC/HND or degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- 5+ years’ electrical building services design experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK standards and regulations.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Proven experience delivering projects from concept to construction.
- Strong communication and project-management skills.
- Chartered/working towards professional accreditation desirable.
