Manufacturing Engineer

We’re working with an innovative engineering business developing specialist test and measurement products used across global telecommunications networks. They’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer
- Edinburgh to join a small, experienced manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or an engineer with 1–2 years’ experience who wants to build their technical skills and progress within a hands‑on engineering environment.

You’ll work across manufacturing, testing, fault finding and new product introduction, working closely with both internal engineering teams and external manufacturing partners.
- Carrying out manufacturing testing and calibration on production instruments
- Investigating customer returns and carrying out RMA fault finding
- Diagnosing electronic faults down to component level
- Carrying out local PCB/electronic rework where required
- Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and the transition of new products into manufacturing
- Working with design engineers on Design for Manufacture (DFM)
- Supporting contract manufacturers with technical issues, testing and fault finding
- Troubleshooting complex analogue and high-speed digital circuits
