The role has a focus on supporting people who are 55 and over, living within Wheatley Homes East retirement housing properties. The role will promote and encourage independence and provide housing support where required. They will liaise appropriately with housing and other agencies regarding the welfare of the individual.

• Support 55+ residents within Wheatley Homes East retirement housing properties, promoting independence and providing housing support as needed.
• Liaise with housing and other agencies regarding an individual's welfare.
• Cover staff annual leave and sickness leave in retirement properties across Edinburgh between Monday to Friday, 9am – 1pm.
• Perform a Basic Disclosure check as required.

• Experience in a similar environment and a sound understanding older people’s services.
• Ability to display an objective and non-discriminatory approach to a diverse client group and support people to live their best lives.
