Overview
Temporary Support Musicians (Instrumental or General Musicianship) – Big Noise Wester Hailes, Edinburgh. 14 hours per week. Pay £25,848 per annum, pro rata (£14.20 per hour). Term: 25 June 2027. 40 weeks per year, term time only.

LocationsPrograms are delivered in:
Wester Hailes (Edinburgh), Torry (Aberdeen), Raploch & Fallin (Stirling), Govanhill (Glasgow) and Douglas (Dundee).
- Work closely with Big Noise Musicians and Support Workers to support the delivery of the Big Noise programme in Wester Hailes.
- Provide teaching and support opportunities, give constructive feedback and guidance on all elements of Big Noise.
- Participate in training on positive behaviour, lesson planning and methodologies such as Kodaly and Orff Shulwerk.
- Assist in planning and delivering musical activities for children and young people.
- Attend panel interview, short audition and interactive activity during the selection process.
- Knowledge of the Big Noise programme.
- At least grade 5 standard (or equivalent) on your principal instrument or voice.
- Will demonstrate ability to benefit from a developmental/training role.
