Global Revenues Analyst

Core-Asset Consulting is supporting a leading global asset management firm, based in Edinburgh, in the appointment of a Global Revenues Analyst on a contract basis, running to January 2027.

This role sits within their finance function where you will be responsible for revenue accounting and reporting, offering exposure to a complex, high-volume environment within financial services. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate revenue recognition and maintaining strong financial controls in line with US GAAP.

• Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive approach, with the confidence to identify and support process improvement initiatives.
• Part-qualified CA / ACA / ACCA / CIMA preferred.
• Prior experience within financial services is desirable, ideally within investment management.

• Maintain strong controls and procedures relating to the general ledger.
• Review and record actual and accrual revenue entries in accordance with US GAAP.
• Analyse monthly revenue and accruals, providing clear commentary and insights.
• Perform invoice processing and balance sheet account reconciliations at month end.
• Respond to ad-hoc queries and support special projects, including updates to operational policies and procedures.
• Provide analysis and commentary on revenue and debtor positions.
