We are offering £14.61 per hour, equal to £30,400.00 salary.

As a Finance & Business Support Assistant, your main duties and responsibilities will be supporting the Finance team by producing monthly accounts, meeting all deadlines and adhering to IHG policies and procedures.
Your tasks will be varied, including managing the Procurement System; assisting in billing and query resolution, completing the income audit; resolving imbalances with Team Members and completing other Ad Hoc accounting requests.
You will maintain strong relationships with the immediate finance team and wider hotel team, working to ensure that everything is running smoothly and any issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
Your main responsibilities as a Finance & Business Support Assistant will be:- Assist with daily income audit, resolving imbalances directly as needed and identifying and raising significant audit or procedural differences with the Finance Lead / Finance Business Partner and senior management.
- Assist with the auditing of management allowances and supporting documents.
- Assist with daily / weekly compliance tasks as part of the CSA requirement, and to report any discrepancies to the Finance Lead.
- Helping to foster a positive control environment across the hotel whilst providing support to the wider hotel team.
- Maintaining ongoing relationship with BSC team to ensure deadlines are met and procedures followed in line with Accounting SOP’s and CSA requirements.
- Assist with cash, credit card & banking reconciliations.
- Completing other ad hoc tasks requests as needed.
- Supporting both the Finance Manager & Finance Business Partner with month-end procedures.
- Assisting the Finance Manager with payroll process.
- Be seen as a systems expert to support other functional areas e.g. Time & Attendance, POS, PMS, Procurement System etc.
