Tax Senior

Meraki Talent are recruiting for a Tax Senior to join a well-established and growing professional services firm. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative tax team that values development, knowledge‑sharing, and long‑term career progression.

You’ll manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, including sole traders and directors of owner‑managed businesses, with exposure to more complex and high‑value cases as you develop in the role.

• Preparation and review of Self‑Assessment personal tax returns
• Completion of P11
  
  Ds, advice on benefits in kind, and preparation of PAYE Settlement Agreements
• Producing Capital Gains Tax calculations, including UK Property CGT returns
• Liaising with internal teams, clients, and HMRC via phone, email, and written correspondence
• Supporting ad‑hoc tax queries and contributing to wider tax projects

• ATT qualified, part‑qualified, or qualified by experience
• Previous experience in a personal tax or mixed tax role
• Strong technical knowledge across personal tax, partnership tax, and Capital Gains Tax
• Confidence supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Experience using CCH is advantageous, though training can be provided
• Exposure to advisory work for owner‑managed businesses (including IHT, CGT, Income Tax, and Corporation Tax) is desirable but not essential
