Chase de Vere is a national independent financial advice firm established in 1969, offering whole‑market solutions and expert advice to individuals and businesses. The Senior Manager role leads our financial advisers, driving performance, coaching excellence and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Senior Manager – Responsibilities- Develop objectives and business plans for team members.
- Coaching and mentoring advisers to meet and exceed business objectives.
- Hold responsibility for overall team performance and deliverables.
- Coordinate closely with Operations, Paraplanning Managers and senior leadership.
- Implement effective training and development programmes.
- Maintain FCA Statement of Principles and Code of Practice compliance.
- Conduct regular observations, one‑to‑one meetings and coaching sessions.
- Identify and act on growth opportunities via data analysis and market research.
- Level4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) – essential.
- Equivalent judging of supervision in a regulated environment (J07) – distinct advantage.
- Significant managerial experience leading independent financial advisers.
- Strong knowledge of the advisory process and FCA regulatory framework.
- Proven commercial acumen with the ability to deliver outcomes through others.
- Flexible coaching style suitable for advisers of varied experience levels.
- Adept at working in a fast‑paced environment while fostering positive team relationships.
