The Role

As Paraplanner, you will provide technical support to the advisory team, working on a diverse range of complex cases for high‑net‑worth clients. This is a role for someone who thrives on technical challenges and wants to develop their expertise in sophisticated financial planning.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing comprehensive suitability reports and recommendations for high‑net‑worth clients

  • Providing technical support on estate planning, trusts, and inheritance tax planning
  • Ensuring all recommendations are compliant, well‑documented, and of the highest quality
  • Collaborating with a highly qualified technical team to deliver exceptional client outcomes
What's Required
  • Proven paraplanning experience working with high net worth clients
  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (ideally Level 6 or equivalent)
  • Experience across annual reviews, top‑ups, retirement planning, cashflow modelling, and pension planning
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce high‑quality suitability reports
  • A genuine passion for paraplanning as a career rather than a stepping stone to advice
  • Chartered status or working towards it
  • Experience of tax‑led planning (EIS, VCT, Business Relief)
  • Knowledge of estate planning, trusts, and inheritance tax planning
  • Experience working with complex, high‑value cases
Why Join?
  • Work with a highly qualified, technical team (majority Chartered Fellows and Diploma qualified)
  • Handle complex, intellectually stimulating cases for high‑net‑worth clients with large investable assets
  • Join a company with an outstanding reputation for investment expertise and client service
  • Benefit from exposure to sophisticated tax planning, estate planning, and trust work
  • Opportunity to develop your technical skills alongside experienced professionals
  • Hybrid working with minimum 2 days per week in the office
  • Excellent career development and exam support for those pursuing further qualifications
The Package
  • Competitive salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Attractive bonus paid annually
  • Hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in office)
  • Exam support and professional development opportunities

If you're an experienced Paraplanner looking for a role where you can work on complex, high‑value cases and develop your technical expertise alongside a highly qualified team with a great culture, we'd love to hear from you.
