The role of Finance Assistant:

• Processing supplier invoices and managing payment runs
• Raising accurate client invoices in line with agreements
• Monitoring aged debt and managing credit control activities
• Supporting reconciliations, audits, and month end processes
• Building and analysing datasets using advanced Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Identifying inefficiencies and helping to automate manual processes
• Supporting improvements across finance systems and workflows
• Exploring AI tools and data-led approaches to enhance reporting and insight

The ideal Finance Assistant:

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
• A genuine interest in AI and data analysis within finance
• Curiosity around automation and continuous process improvement
• A mindset focused on improving efficiency and challenging existing processes
• Strong hands‑on experience with accounting software
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
