VNI Finance is delighted to support our high-growth, PE-backed client in Edinburgh in recruiting a Management Accountant to join their head office finance team.
This would suit a recently qualified or soon-to-be-qualified individual who is keen to join a growing finance function with great career progression.
Role Overview- Own and deliver group management accounts and detailed variance analysis across multiple legal entities, supporting group‑level reporting, consolidation, and performance review.
- Produce and present accurate KPI Reporting to senior stakeholders
- Analyse revenue performance across all products, ensuring full and compliant recognition
- Perform detailed cost analysis to identify trends, variances and value‑creation opportunities
- Provide clear commentary that explains business performance to non‑finance stakeholders
- Maintain strong financial controls across all legal entities
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and finance policies
- Support audit deliverables and preparation for corporate transactions
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
- Model financial scenarios to inform business planning and decision‑making
- Build trusted relationships across the business to support operational and commercial teams
- Challenge assumptions constructively to enhance financial outcomes
- Lead regular performance discussions with budget holders and senior stakeholders, explaining complex financial variances, challenging assumptions, and influencing decision‑making.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of the new finance ERP system (Business Central)
- Identify and deliver process improvements that strengthen accuracy, efficiency and control
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting, analysis and workflows
- ACCA, CIMA, CA (or equivalent) qualification or Part Qualified
- Hybrid working- 2 days per week out of the central Edinburgh office
