Finance Officer, Accounts Receivable

We are seeking a proactive and detail driven Finance Officer to take ownership of the accounts receivable and credit control function. You will ensure invoices are raised accurately, payments are collected on time, and customer queries are resolved efficiently.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting cash flow and maintaining strong financial processes.

Key duties

• Manage the full sales ledger and credit control cycle
• Raise invoices and allocate payments accurately
• Chase overdue accounts by phone and email
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Produce regular reports on income and aged debt
• Build effective relationships with customers and internal teams

About you

• Experience in credit control and accounts receivable
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Good Excel and finance systems knowledge
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• Experience in a not for profit environment
• Experience in a standalone finance role
