Indirect Tax Advisory - Manager / Senior Manager (Big 4 Firm, Edinburgh / Glasgow)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the growing Indirect Tax Advisory team at a Big 4 Firm within their Scotland practice. Work alongside experienced Partners on complex, high-value engagements. Benefit from a meritocratic environment with clear potential for fast‑track progression (12‑18 months for high performers).

About the Role
  • Deliver high‑quality indirect tax advisory services across a wide range of client engagements.
  • Manage client relationships and take ownership of projects, ensuring delivery to a high standard.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.
  • Work on a variety of projects across sectors including public sector, financial services, corporates, renewables, and high net worth individuals.

This firm is a global leader in professional services, known for its strong advisory capabilities. The Scotland Indirect Tax team offers broader project exposure compared to Big 4 competitors. A collaborative, project‑based team structure with a strong focus on development and internal progression. Hybrid working model with a presence across Glasgow and Edinburgh offices.

  • Strong technical expertise in indirect tax, ideally gained within a professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver advisory work independently.
  • A proactive and ambitious mindset, with a desire to progress quickly within a high‑performing team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring and developing junior colleagues.
