Trainee Debt Recovery Finance Administrator (0267)

Summary of Role

Provide timely, accurate and responsive service to the Y&K team through performance of daily banking and payment activities assuring the sound and efficient financial running of the team.

Key Tasks

  • Process Assigned Client's – Sheriff Officers Invoices through relevant case on accounts programme.
  • Process posting slip for court actions raised by Debt Recovery Team.
  • Review Case Management System – Action cases that required to be feed to date. Court Action or LBA and email Invoice to Clients.
  • Review Case Management System that case has all time recording has been processed and case has been feed to date and now available to close for archiving.
  • Excel Bulk Client Invoice – Process invoice through accounts programme and update Cash Management System – charges to clients.
  • Debtor's payments in-coming to bank entered into Cash Management System updating case and advising debt team of any relevant actions to be carried out.
  • Process Bacs/Card Payment – for Client paying YK Invoices.
  • Monitor Cashroom Email – Inbox and allocate to relevant Team Member.
  • Remit funds recovered from debtors to clients – after review of Case Management System.
  • Process Assigned Client's – Sheriff Officers Invoices through relevant case on accounts program.
  • Credit Control to ensure accounts are settled in line with established procedures. Provide copy invoices if required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • The post requires someone used to dealing with accounts payable and banking and reconciliations duties.
  • SOLAS qualification is desirable but not essential.

  • You have excellent communication skills, you are articulate, you communicate clearly, concisely and without any jargon.
  • You enjoy working within a team and autonomously on your own initiative.
  • You are personable and good at building and developing client relationships.
  • You are confident and you have a strong belief in yourself and your own ability.
  • You are committed to providing a good client experience and willing to put in extra time and effort when required.
