Are you an experienced tax professional within the Equity Reward & Venture Capital space looking for your next challenge? Our Equity Rewards & Venture Capital Schemes team are growing, and we're currently seeking a Senior Manager to join them on their journey.
Role OverviewAs Tax Senior Manager – Equity Rewards & Venture Capital Schemes, you'll lead our specialist team advising on equity incentives and venture capital tax reliefs. You'll design and implement cutting-edge share schemes, guide clients through SEIS/EIS and VCT landscapes, and deliver strategic tax planning for high-growth and private equity-backed businesses. You'll shape the future of the business, lead strategic growth, and act as an inspirational role model and adviser.
Responsibilities- Support and drive efficiencies, consistently improving processes and shaping the strategy in your area.
- Operate as an expert in tax, being sought for technical and strategic advice, making sound decisions and recommendations.
- Own and manage project financial growth – treating the business finances as your own.
- Manage a portfolio of clients effectively.
- Lead business-development initiatives.
- Build relationships with high-growth businesses, private equity firms and investors.
- Deliver thought leadership through webinars, articles and industry events.
- Cooperate with wider CP teams to ensure client delivery aligns to a joined-up approach.
- Support team leads in setting tone and style, upholding CP values with high emotional intelligence.
- Coach, mentor, develop a high-performing team, providing candid feedback and fostering a learning culture.

- CTA, ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
- 7+ years in tax advisory, with deep expertise in equity incentives and venture capital schemes.
- Proven track record advising on EMI, CSOP, Growth Shares, SEIS/EIS and VCT structures.
- Experience with private equity transactions and high-growth businesses.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax-advantaged share schemes.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to translate complex tax issues into practical solutions.
