The RoleThis Management Accountant position involves delivering key accounting services and contributing to business growth. You will prepare management reports, handle statutory disclosures, and collaborate closely with clients and internal teams. Mentoring juniors, managing projects, and developing client relationships will be central to your role. You will work within a fast-paced environment, supporting team efforts and embracing new technologies.
Responsibilities- Prepare management accounts and statutory reports.
- Develop cash-flow forecasts and assist with budget planning.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Lead or support special projects at client requests.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate junior team members.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and business development.
- Fully qualified finance professional or finalist with practical experience in either practice or industry.
- Proven ability in producing management accounts and statutory reporting.
- Skilled in Excel and Word, with strong analytical skills.
- Experience with cash-flow forecasting and financial modelling.
- Can manage priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud accounting tools and ERP systems.
- Awareness of UK GAAP/FRS 102 or IFRS standards.
- Background working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
