DescriptionTransfer Pricing Manager at AAB will lead end-to-end transfer pricing projects for international clients, delivering comprehensive documentation, economic analysis, and proactive client engagement. Responsibilities include project delivery, policy design, client relationship management, business development, collaboration across practice groups, and practice development.
ROLE PURPOSEKey duties & responsibilities:
Client Delivery & Project Management- Manage the end-to-end delivery of transfer pricing projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and billing
- Design, implement, and review transfer pricing policies for international clients
- Lead functional analysis interviews and oversee the preparation of transfer pricing documentation (e.g. Local Files, Master Files) in accordance with UK legislation and OECD guidelines
- Manage economic analyses and preparation of benchmarking studies
- Support cross-border financing engagements, including thin capitalisation analysis and interest benchmarking
- Draft clear, concise, and technically robust reports and client deliverables
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and proactive relationships
- Provide practical, commercially focused transfer pricing advice
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for clients
- Support the leadership team in identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Contribute to proposals and the development of client solutions
- Identify opportunities within the existing client base to expand service offerings
- Work closely with colleagues across Tax, Audit, and Corporate Finance to deliver integrated client solutions
- Train, mentor, and support the development of junior team members
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal methodologies and processes
- Support the growth and strategic development of the transfer pricing practice
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK transfer pricing legislation and OECD developments
- Drive continuous improvement in technical capability and service delivery
- Professionally qualified (ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience in transfer pricing advisory, either in practice or industry
- Strong understanding of UK transfer pricing legislation and OECD guidelines
- Experience in transfer pricing documentation, functional analysis, and economic benchmarking
- Experience in intercompany financing and thin capitalisation analysis
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident user of AI to generate efficiencies and automate workflows
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work across teams
- High level of attention to detail and professional judgement
