Job Overview

Position:
Paraplanner – hybrid working.
- Draft suitability reports with guidance from the Financial Planner, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Coordinate with Financial Planners to secure complete and accurate client data.
- Interpret adviser meeting notes and prepare precise recommendations.
- Provide guidance to advisers on specific cases to support good consumer outcomes.
- Maintain high‑quality customer experience following Group standards.
- Adhere to research, client support, compliance, and system processes.
- Update workflow records for accurate management information.
- Manage workload, notify Line Manager of capacity changes, and keep workflows current.
- Promote best practice for adviser support and client‑facing processes.
- Ensure effective communication with CS, advisers, and colleagues.
- Run own case load efficiently and keep records up to date.
- Gather data for existing policies/schemes, analysing information using relevant software.
- Obtain illustrations and key feature documentation to support client recommendations.
- Maintain technical and industry knowledge.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, or training support to other paraplanners.
- Model excellence and adhere to Group processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve the paraplanning process.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- 1+ years’ experience in a paraplanning role in a similar environment.
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or close to obtaining).
- Experience with IT systems supporting this service.
- High level of technical knowledge across the full range of advice.
- Understanding of FCA COB rules.
