· Lead due diligence for potential follow-on investment opportunities, analysing financial statements, market data, investment viability and risk.

· Develop, maintain and enhance detailed financial models for forecasting and valuation, providing insight into financial trends, potential returns and risk.

· Draft and present comprehensive investment papers and make recommendations on investment structures and terms aligned with the Bank’s goals.

· Lead smaller projects or components of larger transactions, applying strong investment and portfolio management judgement.

· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues and contribute to their development and involvement in projects.

· Work collaboratively with Risk, Legal and Impact colleagues to support cohesive investment processes and timely responses to investee requests and consents.

· Maintain awareness of relevant financial market developments and build relationships with investee companies, key market participants and stakeholders across the Scottish financial ecosystem.

Key Skills & Experience

You will bring significant experience in investment analysis, financial modelling and due diligence, together with the judgement, communication skills and collaborative approach required to manage complex investment activity.

· Significant experience in investment analysis, financial modelling and due diligence.

· Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage projects or components of larger transactions.

· Proven analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving capability.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to prepare and present investment recommendations and engage effectively with stakeholders.

· In-depth knowledge of financial markets, particularly in relation to sustainable investment and the Scottish financial ecosystem.

· A demonstrable commitment to ethical investment practices and a strong understanding of ESG factors.

· A degree qualification, with a professional qualification such as CFA highly regarded.

· The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.

· A willingness to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the wider development and success of the team.
