Location: City of Edinburgh
Find Core are thrilled to be assisting a leading financial planning business with the recruitment of a IFA Administrator or Senior IFA Administrator.
About the RolePermanent position. This role will be based in Edinburgh.
Responsibilities- Provide high-level administrative support to Financial Advisers and Paraplanners.
- Prepare and process new business applications across pensions, investments and protection.
- Liaise with clients, providers and third parties to obtain information and progress cases.
- Prepare client review packs and supporting documentation.
- Process investment, pension and protection business accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure CRM systems are kept fully up to date.
- Deal with valuations, withdrawals, transfers and other client servicing requests.
- Monitor new business through to completion and resolve any outstanding requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with FCA requirements and internal compliance procedures.
- Support and mentor more junior members of the administration team where required.
- Strong previous experience within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment.
- FPC qualification or equivalent is required.
- Good understanding of pensions, investments and protection products.
- Experience supporting Financial Advisers with new business and ongoing client servicing.
- Strong knowledge of financial services administration and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident communicating with clients, advisers and product providers.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise multiple cases.
- Experience using financial planning CRM or back-office systems would be advantageous.
