FNZ is seeking a Corporate Actions Officer to join our Investment Operations function. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise within a fast-paced, growing Fin Tech business that sits at the heart of the global wealth management industry.
You’ll play a key role in managing the accurate and timely processing of corporate actions across a wide range of investments on the FNZ platform. Working closely with custodians, fund managers, and internal teams, you’ll help ensure operational excellence, data accuracy, and outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities- Corporate Actions Processing:
Support the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate actions - from initial notification through to processing, reconciliation, and closure. Accurately capture, verify, and update corporate action events within FNZ systems. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or queries, escalating complex cases where necessary. Ensure adherence to regulatory, operational, and internal compliance standards. - Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Work closely with third-party custodians, fund managers, and internal departments to ensure accurate data flow and timely execution. Maintain clear communication with key internal stakeholders regarding status updates and issue resolution. Contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Corporate Actions team through collaboration and knowledge sharing. - Quality Control & Process Improvement:
Support quality assurance reviews to confirm accuracy and consistency of processing. Assist in maintaining and updating operational procedures. Identify potential areas for process improvement and suggest practical solutions. Keep up to date with market and regulatory changes affecting corporate actions.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); experience with CREST or equivalent systems is advantageous.
- Previous experience within Corporate Actions or a related area of investment operations (e.g. settlements, reconciliations, asset servicing) is desirable.
- Understanding of the corporate actions lifecycle and related financial instruments.
- Enthusiastic, proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- A 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, global business.
- The ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset - you’ll work closely with others to deliver excellent results.
- Curiosity and drive to continuously improve processes and performance.
