This position would suit an experienced Financial Controller or an ambitious Management Accountant looking to step into a more strategic role. You'll have significant exposure to business performance, operational decision making and senior stakeholders whilst maintaining a hands on involvement in financial reporting, forecasting and financial control.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead the finance function across multiple group entities
* Produce monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets & cashflow reporting
* Deliver commercial insight & financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
* Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability & business performance
* Maintain financial controls, balance sheet integrity & statutory compliance
* Manage year-end accounts, consolidations and audit processes
* Oversee payroll, treasury & investment reporting activities
* Manage relationships with auditors, banks & professional advisors
* Lead finance process improvements & system developments
* Manage & develop a small finance team
Skills and experience that will benefit your application:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a Financial Controller or similar leadership role
* Management accounting, forecasting and financial reporting experience
* Experience working across multiple entities and jurisdictions
* Analytical skills with ability to translate financial data into business insight
* Commercial mindset with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
* Experience leading process improvements and finance transformation initiatives
* Knowledge of group consolidations, transfer pricing or foreign exchange considerations
* Experience managing or overseeing company investments, treasury activities or investment reporting
