We are currently working with a growing and well-established privately owned business in Edinburgh that is looking to add a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to its finance team.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and gain broader exposure across management accounts, month-end, budgeting, forecasting and commercial finance.

You'll work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and have genuine ownership of your responsibilities, alongside the opportunity to support and develop a more junior member of the team.

The role

• Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting schedules across multiple entities.
• Taking ownership of the month-end process, including accruals, prepayments, journals and depreciation.
• Completing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Supporting cash-flow forecasting, budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Analysing actual performance against budget and providing clear variance analysis and commentary.
