Full Time, Permanent Salary: 100,000 – 110,000 dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Director to join a well-established and growing business based in Coventry. This is a senior leadership role and a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Director who is commercially focused, confident working at Board level and enjoys being a real partner to the CEO and wider senior leadership team.

As part of the Senior Management Team, you will take overall responsibility for the financial leadership of the business, providing clear commercial and financial insight to support decision-making, profitability and sustainable growth. You will work closely with the CEO, Shareholder and senior leaders across the business, providing both support and constructive challenge when needed. There may also be an opportunity to provide Finance Director support to the wider holding company, working alongside the CEO on Group governance, portfolio performance and strategic planning.

Duties will include:
Providing strategic financial leadership across the business Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to support business strategy and growth Providing clear financial and commercial insight to support key business decisions Leading financial planning, forecasting and budgeting Driving profitability, cash generation and overall financial performance Ensuring strong financial governance, controls, risk management and compliance Providing forward-looking analysis, financial modelling and scenario planning Supporting strategic initiatives, transformation and growth opportunities Working with commercial teams around pricing, profitability and investment decisions Leading and developing the finance team and driving continuous improvement Managing relationships with auditors, professional advisers and other key external stakeholders Potentially supporting the CEO with Finance Director responsibilities across the wider Group The role will have direct responsibility for the Financial Controller and FP&A Analyst, alongside wider indirect responsibility across the finance team.

The ideal candidate will have: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification Significant experience operating as a Finance Director at Board and Executive level A strong commercial background with the ability to look beyond the numbers Extensive experience across financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, risk, governance, audit and compliance Strong financial modelling and analytical skills Previous experience leading and developing a finance team The confidence and credibility to work closely with a CEO, Shareholder and senior stakeholders Excellent communication and influencing skills The ability to challenge constructively and bring a strong commercial perspective to senior-level decision-making A proven track record of supporting business performance, transformation and sustainable growth This is a great opportunity for an established Finance Director who wants to play an integral part in the future direction of a business, working closely with the CEO and leadership team whilst developing a high-performing finance function Morgan Parkes Recruitment Ltd operates in the UK and can only process applications from candidates who are currently eligible to live and work in the UK.
