Private Client Assistant Manager​/Manager

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to join the Private Client Tax Team of a leading Top 10 UK accountancy firm in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional to manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, deliver complex tax advisory projects, and build strong client relationships. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and a passion for developing junior talent.

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, overseeing complex tax compliance and advisory matters, including capital gains tax (CGT) and inheritance tax (IHT) planning.
• Deliver high-quality client work within agreed deadlines and budgets, monitor work in progress (WIP), and prepare fee notes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identify opportunities for additional services, and collaborate with other teams, including Accounts and Corporate Tax.
• Review the work of junior colleagues, provide constructive feedback, and support their technical and professional development.
