We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. We are seeking experienced Care Assistants to join our team in Glencairn Care Home for full-time hours, working the night shift. Our Care Assistants are at the forefront of resident engagement, supporting and encouraging meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection.

The role promotes independence and choice, ensuring residents’ voices are heard through all elements of care and support. It offers variety and versatility as no two shifts are the same. Key elements of care include assisting with personal care, promoting a positive mealtime experience to enhance nutrition and hydration, supporting meaningful connections and creating 1:1 activities.

Having your SVQ2 and previous experience in the care sector is beneficial but not essential as full training is provided. You will be an effective communicator and work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You must uphold our values of People, Friendly, Passionate and Inclusion.
