Rate: £45–£52 per hour

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 am - 4:30 pm

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Sonographer to join our client’s team in Edinburgh. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment, providing high-quality sonography services to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing detailed ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations
• Interpret results and provide accurate reports
• Ensure the safe operation of ultrasound equipment
• Adhere to best practices and protocols
• Maintain detailed patient records
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address concerns
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• HCPC registration
• Postgraduate qualification in Sonography
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sonography
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting images
• Experience in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and General sonography
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
