Trinity House Care Home is a beautifully decorated, modern care home providing exceptional Residential, Nursing, Respite and Dementia care for up to 55 residents.

We are looking for a dedicated Domestic Assistant to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for our residents. This is a vital role where your attention to detail and high hygiene standards will directly support the wellbeing and comfort of everyone who lives and works in our home.

• £12.21 per hour
• Contracted to 18 hours per week
• Flexible shifts including weekend working
• Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

As Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home. You will clean a variety of areas including resident rooms, communal spaces, sanitary fixtures and fittings, and furniture. You will safely manage refuse disposal and ensure all cleaning tasks are carried out in line with infection control and company policies.

You will also assist with laundry services — ensuring residents’ personal items are cleaned, labelled, and handled respectfully. As part of the wider care home team, you will contribute to a warm, supportive environment where residents feel valued and at home.

• A keen eye for detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
• Understanding of infection prevention, health and safety, and fire safety regulations
• Ability to manage cleaning and laundry tasks efficiently and safely
