Dental Health Support Worker (Childsmile) – NHS Lothian (235247, CP40, EGPP)

An exciting opportunity with NHS Lothian’s Oral Health Service, Oral Health Improvement team. The postholder will deliver national tooth brushing programmes and oral health interventions within the Childsmile programme, a national programme funded by the Scottish Government to promote and improve the oral health of children in Scotland. The position is permanent, with term‑time hours.

• Deliver national tooth brushing programmes and oral health interventions as part of the Childsmile initiative.
• Collaborate with health professionals and community staff to promote oral health among children.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with NHS and Childsmile procedures.
• Support children, families, and caregivers in implementing good oral health practices.
