Position:An exciting opportunity has arisen for Radiographers based at University Hospital Crosshouse, University Hospital Ayr and Ayrshire Central Hospital. These posts are offered on a permanent basis.
Hours:37 hours per week.
From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full‑time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part‑time staff) without loss of earnings.
UK Driving Licence:A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What you will do:The duties and responsibilities of this Radiographer post requires service delivery in a wide range of CT imaging. To undertake other radiographic duties within the general department with supervisory responsibilities as appropriate.
You will be expected to support both the service and its staff in continuing to maintain and develop the highest standards of imaging. You will be involved in departmental audit activities and excellent communication and team working skills are essential.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post:It is essential you have a BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography / Imaging Services with current registration with the HCPC. A postgraduate qualification in a Computed tomography would be advantageous.
You should have a wide range of general radiographic and CT experience and will preferably have suitable and significant post graduate experience.
You should be an innovative, highly motivated radiographer with good communication and team working skills.
An up‑to‑date Continuing Personal Development portfolio is required.
